Chautauqua scholars performed at the Webb City Public Library during the month of June, as well as the Carthage Public Library.  The events were sponsored by the friends of the Webb City Public Library and the friends of the Carthage Public Library.  Scholar William S. Worley performed the character of Walt Disney.  Scholar Jeffrey Smith performed the character of P.T.
